Born in London in 1797, Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein at just eighteen years old — conjuring a story of creation, ambition, and consequence that invented an entirely new genre and continues to resonate deeply more than two centuries later. This needlepoint canvas is a tribute to that extraordinary mind, and to a young woman who looked into the shadows and found something that has never stopped haunting us.
