The Coco Chanel Bobble is inspired by Coco Chanel. Born in Saumur, France, in 1883, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel learned to sew as a girl in a convent orphanage before opening her first Paris shop in 1910. She focused on easy, elegant designs like jersey separates, the tweed suit, and the little black dress. This needlepoint canvas celebrates a fellow maker whose needle and thread redefined how the modern woman dressed.
